HOW TO USE THIS FALL WORD SCRAMBLE

Before starting this word scramble activity, it’s helpful to introduce children to autumn vocabulary in Spanish.

You can do this in fun ways, such as reading fall-themed picture books in Spanish or integrating the words into activities like an autumn scavenger hunt or coloring pages.

These activities help children have fun while improving their Spanish language abilities and expanding their fall seasonal vocabulary.

This word scramble printable includes two pages: one with the scrambled words and another with the answer key.

For younger children, I suggest displaying my set of fall flashcards in Spanish on a board or around the room.

For more advanced children, challenge them to complete the sheet within a specified time frame before reviewing any words they couldn’t decipher.

To add excitement, set a timer for 3-5 minutes and see which students or family members can solve the words within the allotted time.

Tips to use printable word scramble

Kids of all ages will enjoy and benefit from using this awesome summer word scramble game. Let’s take a look at some tips on how to help your students with the scrambled words.

Before engaging in this word scramble activity, it can be beneficial to familiarize children with the summer vocabulary words in Spanish.

There are various enjoyable ways to do this, such as exploring summer-themed picture books in Spanish or incorporating the words into other engaging activities like a summer-themed I Spy game or summer coloring pages.

Additionally, a summer maze in Spanish can provide an interactive and entertaining opportunity to reinforce the vocabulary. By incorporating these activities, children can have fun while expanding their Spanish language skills and building their summer vocabulary.

This word scramble printable comes with two pages, the actual word scramble and the answer key.

For young children, I recommend placing the words on the blackboard or around the room.

For for more advanced children, give them a certain amount of time to complete the sheet before revealing the words they the couldn’t figure out.

To make this activity even more fun, set a timer from 3-5 minutes and see which students or family members can figure out the words in the time allotted.

These Christmas color by number coloring pages in Spanish will be a fun way to prepare your students for the holiday season.

CHRISTMAS Color by Number: MATH SKILLS

Christmas Color by Number Coloring Pages are a fun and engaging way for children to learn about the holiday while practicing their coloring and number recognition skills.

Let’s take a peek at what’s included:

There are six different pages included in this kit. The first two pages are free after subscribing at the end of this post!

Each will work on a different set of numbers. Here are the numbers included on each sheet:

Page 1 works on the numbers 1 through 4.
Page 5 works on the numbers 9-12.
Page 3 works on the numbers 10-60 in intervals of tens.
Page 4 works on the numbers 5-55 in intervals of fives.
Page 5 ranges from 2-12 in intervals of two.
Lastly, page 6 works on numbers 3-24 in intervals of 3.

COLOR BY NUMBER CHRISTMAS PAGES: Color word recognition

Unlike in my St. Patrick’s Day color by number pages in Spanish where the color code is represented by a crayon, these Christmas color by number worksheets are a little bit trickier.

Instead of the crayon, it has the color word in Spanish.

Why?

This will help kids of all ages with color recognition in Spanish.

If your students are new to learning the color words in Spanish, I recommend printing off a copy of my color flashcards in Spanish.

You can review the color flashcards with your students beforehand. For more help, you can hang or put them near your students as a guide when completing these color by number worksheets in Spanish.

While working on their color by number worksheets, students can identify the color word by browsing through the set of color flashcards. This will help them color in the new pictures.

USEFUL TIPS FOR USING THESE PRINTABLE COLORING PAGES IN YOUR CLASSROOM

First download the coloring worksheets and print off several copies of the color by number activity for each student.

The best way is to start by introducing the color flashcards to your students, or by writing the basic Spanish color words on the board.

Then, work through one coloring sheet at a time and together as a group. Go through and identify the different Spanish numbers on the sheet.

Together go through and quietly fill in the correct numbers with the corresponding color. Let’s see if everyone’s colors in the correct number.

Once your students get the hang of how the activity works, you can then hand out different sheets to the students and let them try the activity in small groups or individually.

Go around the room and encourage the students to keep conversations and practice all in Spanish to get the minority language flowing.

It will be interesting to see how each child uses their drawing skills to color these pages in their own way.

HOW TO PLAY THIS I SPY GAME IN SPANISH

This winter I Spy in Spanish is super easy to play.

Print out as many copies as you would like and invite the kids to sit around the table.

Hand them one of the free winter printable I Spys in Spanish and have them count the pictures that are in the box and write how many at the bottom of the page.

For the color version of this activity they can count the images by crossing them off with a writing utensil, or by placing a small object, like candy or legos, over each object.

For the black and white version, they can color in an image as they count.

BENEFITS OF PLAYING I SPY IN SPANISH

Not only will you children be entertained trying to find all of the different items in this fun winter activity, but they will be learning as well.

What learning goes on while kids are using these winter I Spy Worksheets in Spanish?

For starters, young learners are practicing memorization skills by memorizing winter vocabulary words and numbers 0-10 in Spanish. Make sure to reward your child or students for keeping this activity exclusively in Spanish!

It also works on children’s math skills as they count and record how many of each item they are finding in the activity.

This winter I Spy is also a great activity to work on visual discrimination skills. It helps young children detect the differences between different objects, symbols and shapes.

If you are looking for a fun activity to do with your children this fall season, then try out this fall I spy printable in Spanish.

This free fall printable is a great way to get young children counting and learning the numbers 1 through 10!

FREE PRINTABLE FALL I SPY WORKSHEET IN SPANISH

Using activities like this fall I spy in classrooms or at home can be super fun for kids of all ages.

It is the perfect rainy day activity to do indoors to learn a little more about the fall season in Spanish.

I created two different versions of this autumn game for you, one with beautiful watercolor images and one in black and white. Both are completely free!

Each page is filled with fall objects such as fall leaves, pinecones, deers, pumpkins and more.

Pair this activity with my free fall vocabulary flashcards in Spanish and your children will boost their fall vocabulary in no time!

Here are a few fall vocabulary words in Spanish that you can use in this project:

HOW TO PLAY THIS I SPY GAME IN SPANISH

This fall I Spy in Spanish is super easy to play.

Print out as many copies as you would like and invite the kids to sit around the table.

Hand them one of the free fall printable I spys in Spanish and have them count the pictures that are in the box and write how many at the bottom of the page.

For the color version of this activity they can count the images by crossing them off with a writing utensil, or by placing a small object, like candy or legos, over each object.

For the black and white version, they can color in an image as they count.

BENEFITS OF PLAYING I SPY IN SPANISH

Not only will you children be entertained trying to find all of the different items in this fun fall activity, but they will be learning as well.

What learning goes on while kids are using these fall I Spy Worksheets in Spanish?

Your students will learn a variety of skills while using these I Spy printables.

For starters, young learners are practicing memorization skills by memorizing fall vocabulary words and numbers 0-10 in Spanish. Make sure to reward your child or students for keeping this activity exclusively in Spanish!

It also works on children’s math skills as they count and record how many of each item they are finding in the activity.

This fall I Spy is also a great activity to work on visual discrimination skills. It helps young children detect the differences between different objects, symbols and shapes.

Lastly, children work their fine motor skills as they color and count the different objects, and then practice writing the correct number of items they find in the activity.

So, not only is this activity super easy to set-up and entertaining to do, but it also has an educational component that will get your child’s brain and body working!

Here are the materials you will need for this fun activity:

8.5 x 11 printer paper or white cardstock paper
A printer to print out the PDF file.
The black and white page is for coloring and counting, so you will need coloring utensils such as crayons, markers or even watercolor paints!
Your child!

Then, store away and use for the following school year!

You could also throw a magnifying glass into the mix to help younger kids identify the objects.

Then, when they are done, you can wipe in clean and store it away in your classroom for future class parties!

Page 3 features an image of the earth surrounded by trees and flowers. The title of this page is “¡Cuidemos los árboles!,” Let’s take care of the trees.
